Bel has acquired the dataMate business from Methode Electronics, strengthening its position in Ethernet and broadband technologies.
dataMate’s development of Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) technology represents a promising long-term growth driver for Bel. SPE is designed to deliver both data and power through a single pair of wires, streamlining network infrastructure and reducing costs for future industrial and smart building applications.
The transaction also expands Bel’s U.S.-based manufacturing, R&D, and commercial capabilities. Bel looks forward to welcoming the dataMate team and continuing to deliver innovative connectivity solutions to customers worldwide.
