Bel Announces Single port 2.5GBase-T 100W, 4-pair

San Jose, CA [December 6, 2017] Bel Magnetic Solutions, a Bel group company (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and global leader in design and sales of MagJack® Integrated Connector Modules (ICM) for Networking and Telecommunications applications, announces a line of Single port 2.5GBase-T 100W, 4-pair Power over Ethernet MagJack® ICMs, ideal for next generation Access Points and IP-camera applications.
For maximum power-100W, or 1A over standard ethernet cable, these 2.5GBase-T 100W ICMs provide upgraded performance as defined by the NBASE-T and IEEE standards. Customers can implement 100W PoE to basically double the amount of power their product can handle over any existing application while still operating at Multi-rate ethernet speeds. These products can be used in either a PSE (Power Source Equipment) or a PD (Powered Device). These ICMs are compatible with all major 2.5GBase-T PHYs, including the latest current-mode and voltage-mode PHYs and are backward compatible, using the industry standard footprints and pin-outs.
