San Jose, CA [June 05, 2019] Bel Magnetic Solutions, a Bel group company (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and global leader in design and manufacturing of MagJack® Integrated Connector Modules (ICM), introduces a maximum power 100W (1A), 1GBase-T, 1x2, Power Over Ethernet (PoE) ICM ideal for Telecommunication and Networking applications.
As power requirements for next generation PoE products increase, Bel Magnetic Solutions MagJack® ICM’s meets the criteria by offering a two port, high power solution that transmits/receives 0 to 100W of power per port over all four pairs within the Ethernet cable whilst maintaining the bandwidth of the Gigabit Ethernet signal. This gives users the ability to double the amount of power their products can manage over existing applications. These features along with industry standard footprints and pin-outs are well suited for Network Interface Cards and products requiring smaller boxes, and 5G cellular switching applications. Bel Magnetics MagJack® ICM’s meet all IEEE 802.3 10/100Base-T thru 1GBase-T electrical requirements and are compatible with all major 1GBase-T current-mode and voltage-mode PHY’s.
