Cinch Connectivity Solutions Announces Ganged Triax Connector Capability for High-Density Triaxial Interconnects

Waseca, MN [September 26, 2019] Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel group company, (NASDAQ: BELFA and BELFB) and global leader in delivering reliable connectivity solutions, announces new capabilities for designing custom high-density triaxial interconnects.

The Cinch Trompeter Ganged Triax solution, provides a convenient, reliable, and useful solution for applications that require high noise immunity, rugged construction options, extremely low current measurements, reduced cable losses and loading, and reduced distributed capacitance through the length of the transmission line. This solution provides the engineer custom options for designing multi-channel connector assemblies that largely eliminate these modern challenges and allows even higher-channel count precision current testing.

A Trompeter Ganged Triax connector assembly ensures low-mating force with high-quality mating. These connectors are based on the Trompeter 150 Series TRS subminiature triaxial connectors, commonly used in test and measurement applications. This type of high-density packaging (50 triax connections in a 2” x 4” package) enables the construction of custom-sized and custom-shaped multi-channel connector assemblies with channel counts from two to fifty. Multiple connector assemblies, or blocks, can also be conveniently combined in space- constrained environments to increase the channel count to several hundred (or more).
